What is the standing on
Food & Accomodation / living out allowance when a company sends employees who normally work on company premises
to do a job, 4/5hrs drive away
This is for short periods of time from 2/3 days to week for on and off periods
Is there a norm that should be followed
This is agreed between the employer and employee; it is not regulated by labour legislation (BCEA). Please check with your bargaining council if you do belong to one.
