Disciplinary Action

I need the following info:
Fraud was committed in the workplace, SAPS was called, charges laid against worker and this is pending however can Disciplinary action be taken against the worker by the employer as the crim charge is still pending? Double jeopardy ? Can the worker be punished twice for the same offence??

Double jeopardy means being punished twice by the SAME employer for the same thing. Proceed with the disciplinary enquiry. Do not wait for the criminal process to conclude.
