Unfair Treatment

Hi I'm working at the Manufacturing Industry, I got promoted to the position of Warehouse Team Leader(I WAS NEVER GIVEN JOB DESCRIPTION WHEN I GOT APPOINTED) and I have been performing the duties of the Team leader and Procurement Controller until to date. I checked other branches from the same company I'm working at and they have Warehouse Team Leader and Procurement Controller as separate positions. I approached my H.O.D and HR about the matter and requested a salary adjustment. They said the HR DIRECTOR refused to give me salary adjust saying what I'm doing on the Procurement side is little compared to to other Procurement Controllers from other branches. I was given the job description on the 22nd August 2017 after my request. Please advise how to deal with this matter because I feel like I have been exploited.

Your matter is too complex and this forum will not suffice. It's advisable, however, that you exhaust all internal grievance processes first and if still unhappy, you have recourse to the CCMA or relevant bargaining council.
