Warning for oversleep

Unread post by epcmf » 15 Jul 2016, 10:23

Should a warning be issued for an employee that was late due to oversleeping? The employee in question advised management that she will be late because she overslept, and she reached the work place ±1 hour later. The employee in question is not late on a regular basis - this was an isolated incidence.

Yes, a verbal warning would suffice.
