Can you be simultaneously appointed as the G.M.R 2.1 and 16.2

I would also like to have confirmation on this. I personally think you may. since the 16.2 appointment is quite vague when it comes to specific duties. i believe by adding the GMR2.1 appointment you only clarify it more clearly.

The way i see it:

The GMR2.1 appointment delegates the duties related to the supervision of machinery.
where as,
The 16.2 appointment delegates the safety responsibilities of the legislation in general.

I agree in a small industrial site this may be feasible but in a large manufacturer with extensive hazards and compliance requirements for plant and machinery the added burden of responsibility for all the other aspects of legal compliance in terms of the act and regulations may be too much for one individual.
