Health & Safety

Unread post by Sello » 08 Mar 2018, 19:04

Hi Admin
I'm working for a manucipality and the reason I'm writing this is to find out what to do if our manucipality and managers doesn't comply with the OHS Act?

I've worked for well over seven years under the worst health & safety conditions. Our workshops are dirty, our toilets stinks, our vehicles are not in good conditions and some of them are not meeting the specifications of other jobs. And our health and safety is in great danger.

The union has promised to write to labour and invite the Inspector General to come and intervene, but nothing has been done yet.

Can you please guide us as a constituency on this matter?

Thank you.

Any person my notify the Chief Inspectors office and they may not disclose the detail of the individual that contacted them.
